Frequently Asked Questions.

Version Française

Where your products are made?

Every products are handmade in our workshop in Toulouse. All of them.
They are made by Paolo’s creator, Guillaume. This means that every item is also one-of-a-kind.

What are the materials used for a rug?

We use wool. We are very sensitive to the origin of the raw materials, and the way they were produced. Part of the production is recycling, we buy yarn scraps from textile industries that can no longer use them because their quantity is too small or the colours are too mismatched. We give them a second life.
For some creations, we use a French spinning mill in the Creuse which has been weaving wool since 1880, with regional wool.

For the back of the rugs, we use a cotton canvas fabric. The non-toxic glue is also made in France. How cool is that?!

How long does it take to make a rug?

Tufted rugs require a lot of time to make and a lot of finishing!
Each rug requires many hours, between tufting (insertion of the wool on the canvas), shearing, gluing and finishing. It takes about 10 hours for a small one, as well as the drying time which is a full day.

Where can I purchase your products?

How to take care of my brand new rug?

Our rugs are handmade and unfortunately cannot be machine washed.
It is normal for it to shed some fluff, which can be removed by brushing it or using a vacuum with suction. Vacuum your wool rug regularly, so that you remove all the dirt, dust and residue from the surface before it gets pressed into the fibers. By using the appropriate attachment or vacuum type, thoroughly vacuum your wool rug at least once a week, and more times, if you have a pet.

If there is a spill on your wool rug, it is essential to blot it out immediately. Use a clean cloth or paper towels and carefully blot out all of the excess liquid.

Can I hang my rug on the wall?

Absolutely. On each rug, we set up eyelets to hang them up. Our rugs are made to be versatile.

Are they fluffy?

They are. Tufted wool is brushed and sheared to make it as comfortable as possible, especially barefoot!

What are the shipping costs?

We offer shipping and delivery of all products in France.
Shipping rates will be applied depending on your shipping destination.

How long is the manufacturing time?

We regularly update the waiting times for each item. This depends on the orders in progress in the workshop. An order can take a maximum of 3 weeks. If there is no deadline indicated, it means that the item is already ready to be sent to you!
